Nutrition Web-App, Platelink
The idea for Platelink came from a rather simple want: to make eating easier. The way I like to explain Platelink is through an example in personal finance. After being an analyst for Intuit’s personal finance app, Mint, I saw a parallel in the personal nutrition space. Mint is an app that allows you to connect all of your finance accounts in one place. Things like bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans, mortgages etc. This allows people to have their full financial picture in one place, making things like budgeting a breeze. This same logic can be applied to personal health. With the sheer amount of eating choices we have, whether it’s grocery shopping, meal-prep services, restaurants, or delivery, managing it can be a nightmare.
Thus, Platelink was born. Platelink is meant to be your one-stop-shop for food, no matter how you eat. Using recipes, meal prep services, and restaurants, Platelink comes up with a meal plan personalized to you. Whether your goal is to save time, save money, or eat healthier, Platelink optimizes to your goals all while making tracking your nutrition seamless.
